For every human on Earth, there are 200 million
insects. The mass weight of all insects is about 29 times that of all
humanity. Ants alone make up 15% to 20% of the entire land-dwelling animal
biomass. What’s the matter with kids today? Not much if the following is any indication: The Fresno Bee
newspaper (Fresno CA) invites teens to respond to a "question of the
week." A recent question was "Who is one of your role
models?" Four out of eight kids responding mentioned a parent or

On the 1994 Grammy Award show, Gary Shandling did several of the same
