Beginning in
the late 1980s, Dr. Nancy
Dess of Occidental College in Los Angeles used a Commodore 64 in her
laboratory experiments. Robert Bernardo visited her lab in 2007 and took
the first ten photographs below. In 2022 Dr. Dess concluded her work,
closed down the lab, and disposed of the equipment. Robert was there to
add a few more photos. The rats went to live on a farm in the
