CommVEx 7.0 (Las Vegas Commodore Expo 2011) |
||
The Commodore Las Vegas Expo (CommVEx) started in 2005 in a free venue, but moved to a hotel the following year. Attendance dropped after the first year, and at one point only generous donations from a couple of Commodore enthusiasts kept it afloat. Now it has grown to be a highly anticipated event that is self-financing, and which draws Commodore fans from across North America and Europe. The 2011 CommVEx was held July 23rd & 24th, 2011 at the Las Vegas Club Hotel on Fremont Street in old-town Las Vegas. CommVEx was sponsored by the Fresno Commodore User Group (FCUG) and the Clark County Commodore Computer Club (CCCCC) of Las Vegas. Significant help came in the form of equipment loaned by Al Jackson of CCCCC. Check this site from time to time - more text and pictures will be added. If you have CommVEx photos you'd like to share, please send them to into@dickestel.com. Minimum preferred size is 1000 pixels on the longest side. |
